Have you been struggling with writing your stories at the right size for development within your sprint or how to write a technical story from a business perspective? In this session we will explore story writing techniques to help right size, provide business value with acceptance criteria.

  • How to know when to break a story into smaller stories.
  • How to know when to combine stories into a story.
  • The difference between a Task, Story, Feature and Epic.
  • How to write a technical story from a business perspective.
  • What is acceptance criteria and why it is important to include in a story.

  • Business Analysts, Quality Analysts, Product Owners, Developers and Project Managers responsible for story writing and are new to Agile.
  • Business Analysts, Quality Analysts, Product Owners, Developers and Project Managers responsible for story writing who are struggling with right size stories or technical stories.
  • Business Analysts, Quality Analysts, Product Owners, Developers and Project Managers on Agile teams who use the stories and are struggling to help get stories to the right size.

This will be a basic course on the basic principles of story writing. Information shared will be information I share with clients who are struggling with story writing and also have used on my own teams and those I have coached.
